W.B.J. Williams is an author and poet who happens to be a recovering internationally respected expert in information security (now retired) and unicorns. I write speculative fiction for lovers of the fantastic, the historical, and mythological, and fun nonfiction (if you ignore the information security titles). With an advanced degree in Anthropology and an amateur historian, he serves his local community as part of the Historical Commission. He writes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. His bad puns are endured by his beloved wife and daughters. When not writing, he can often be found haunting the bookstores of the Boston area to the dismay of his budget. He has not given up looking for unicorns, as he knows that you always find things in the last place you look.
My publishing credits include: THE GARDEN AT THE ROOF OF THE WORLD (2013) currently being shopped for a TV/film deal, and THE REALITY, MYTHOLOGY, AND FANTASIES OF UNICORNS (2021) with Dragonwell Publishing. My novel, JOHNNY TALON AND THE GODDESS OF LOVE AND WAR was a semi finalist for the Ozma award, and short listed for the Shelly award. My short story "The InfoCoup" was published by Abyss and Apex in 2019 and featured in their magazine issue The Best of Abyss & Apex: Volume Three.

Last week, my 6th book: A Time Traveler's Guide to the 13th Century was released. While thrilled, I was saddened that early printings won't have the corrected bibliography. We found the mistake last minute, and while we rushed them to the printer, some copies had already been printed.
